Harmonium Brass will perform as part of the annual Holiday Brass Concert in Columbia’s [Missouri] Missouri United Methodist Church on Monday, November 28.  The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m., and there will be no admission charge.

The concert will include brass solos, duets, and several ensemble selections.  Both seasonal and nonseasonal selections will be performed.

Besides Harmonium Brass, a brass ensemble from the Columbia Community Band will perform a new brass ensemble arrangement by John Cheetham based on the hymn For a Thousand Tongues to Sing.  Additionally, trumpeter Allan Beeson will perform several holiday jazz selections.

Harmonium Brass trumpet players Paul Copenhaver and Chris Farris will perform Henry Purcell’s Voluntary in C Major with MUMC organist Craig Datz accompanying.
